Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She performed the role of Anna Garner the leading role in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first role on film in Babysitters in which she starred in the character of Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama major in college and then appeared in several off-Broadway performances. Also, she appeared on New York-based episodes of television series on the network. The family of her parents are both American. Nathaniel is Nathaniel's younger brother and is a successful director. Her interest for the arts early in her age by studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance became less of a priority when she began to perform in Bill Russells and Henry Kriegers variety of plays and musicals including Side Show as Violet Hilton. After high school she joined at the Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Shortly after Krause realized she was able to embark on her acting career professionally. It was the stage production Aida was the show in which she performed for her Equity Card. Her career started with theatre. She was a part of the Huntington Theatre Company produced her in the year 2006. She also played Iphigenia at the Signature Theater Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
